At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Site Foreman to join our client’s growing team based in South Dublin. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Foreman to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Your new role includes:
  • Liaise with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, tradespeople, and site workers to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues as they arise, and report updates to the Project Manager and or Site Manager.
  • Ensure quality control measures are met at every stage of construction.
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications, providing guidance where needed.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, safety inspections, and material deliveries.
  • Manage site logistics, ensuring materials and equipment are available when needed.
  • Lead and motivate the site team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Experience you need:
  • Trade qualification or construction-related degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Foreman role, preferably in high-rise residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of groundworks, structural steel, concrete, roofing, facade, and finishing trades.
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects to a high standard.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, project management software, and digital reporting tools.
  • Valid Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and relevant tickets.
