Are you a friendly and organized individual with a knack for ensuring that everything is in its right place? As a Stores Person, you will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory and supporting operations. Your day-to-day tasks will involve receiving, storing, and distributing parts while ensuring safe and efficient processes.
You will be the first line of contact for inventory management, assisting colleagues and customers with their material needs.

- Receive and inspect incoming deliveries of building materials to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including labeling and categorizing materials for easy access.
- Assist in the preparation and fulfillment of orders for internal and external customers.
- Manage stock levels and perform regular inventory counts to maintain accuracy.
- Ensure that storage areas are clean, safe, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to identify material requirements and assist with restocking needs.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track materials and generate reports as necessary.
- Proven experience in a stores or warehouse environment, preferably in the building materials sector.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely and efficiently.
- Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and customers.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn new skills.
