Position: Estimator/ Solidworks Technician

Location: Tuam, Co. Galwway

About the Role:

Our Galway based Client are looking for a well organised, energetic and enthusiastic Estimator to drive their product development and to work with their sales, design & production teams

Responsibilities:

• Based in manufacturing facility in Tuam, Co. Galway.
• Designing new products
• Creating detailed drawings of existing products
• Estimating cost of new and existing products.
• Creating rendered images for sales & marketing departments
• Assisting sales team in submitting tenders for large projects.
• Work with production department to identify leaner methods to manufacture products

Requirements:

• Steel fabrication experience may help but not required
• Fully trained in Solidworks
• Ability to work off own initiative
• Keen interest in developing new products
• Microsoft office training
• Very good document management skills
