At Elk Recruitment, we are looking for a driven Hospitality Operations Manager to join our client’s growing team based in Westmeath. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to make a real impact in an innovative and growing organization.

Your new role includes:
  • Oversee daily operations across the Restaurant, Bar, Events and other areas of operations to ensure smooth functionality and exceptional guest service
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and enhance guest experience.
  • Work with and support the Group General Manager and Heads of Deparmtents.
  • Demonstrate a complete knowledge of wine and beverage list, including cocktails and promote the use of suggestive sell to guests.
  • Ensure guest complaints are consistently resolved in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate department managers and staff to foster a high-performing team environment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and services to ensure quality standards are upheld
  • Identify market trends in dining and beverage service for both property guests and the local market and act upon the same.
Experience you need:
  • A degree or diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management would be preferred but is not essential
  • Minimum 3 – 4 years restaurant experience within a similar position of similar size hotel.
  • Possess strong food and beverage, coffee, wine and cocktail knowledge.
  • Proven exemplary guest service and sales skills.
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale systems.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol/General Manager’s Certificate.
