- Oversee daily operations across the Restaurant, Bar, Events and other areas of operations to ensure smooth functionality and exceptional guest service
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and enhance guest experience.
- Work with and support the Group General Manager and Heads of Deparmtents.
- Demonstrate a complete knowledge of wine and beverage list, including cocktails and promote the use of suggestive sell to guests.
- Ensure guest complaints are consistently resolved in a prompt and efficient manner
- Train, mentor, and evaluate department managers and staff to foster a high-performing team environment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and staff
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and services to ensure quality standards are upheld
- Identify market trends in dining and beverage service for both property guests and the local market and act upon the same.
- A degree or diploma in Hotel or Hospitality Management would be preferred but is not essential
- Minimum 3 – 4 years restaurant experience within a similar position of similar size hotel.
- Possess strong food and beverage, coffee, wine and cocktail knowledge.
- Proven exemplary guest service and sales skills.
- Knowledge of Point of Sale systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol/General Manager’s Certificate.
