- Develop and grow our customer base in existing markets
- Develop new market areas
- Work to agreed sales targets
- Manage customer orders and ensure they are accurately put through the sales system
- Liaise with the warehouse to ensure efficient delivery to ensure we meet our customers’ expectations
- Maintain regular contact with customers on delivery runs
- Arrange and manage customer visits where appropriate
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the sector
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
- Work well as part of a busy sales team
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the product portfolio
- A minimum of 3+ years’ sales experience, preferably in industrial sales or manufacturing
- Self-motivated individual
- Good knowledge of Microsoft office
- Ability to work on own initiative to deliver results
- Broad commercial acumen
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to build effective, professional relationships
- A highly-engaged, motivated individual who is a team player
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and industry events
