- Set up and operate CNC machines to fulfill job orders for custom joinery pieces
- Read and interpret technical plans and drawings
- Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on machines to ensure proper functioning
- Adjust machine settings to meet specifications and ensure accuracy of finished products
- Monitor machines during operation and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
- Perform quality checks on finished products and make adjustments as necessary
- Report any malfunctions or defects to the appropriate department
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times
- Train and mentor junior CNC operators as needed
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a CNC Operator, preferably in the joinery or woodworking industry
- In-depth knowledge of CNC programming and operation
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and plans
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain precision
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Familiarity with woodworking tools and techniques
- Experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures
- Secondary school diploma or equivalent, technical degree or certification is a plus
