- Read drawings, interpret clients’ needs and produce windows schedule per pricing
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for window and door installations based on project specifications and customer needs.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and project managers to review plans and specifications, ensuring all details are captured accurately.
- Provide technical support and product recommendations to clients, helping them make informed decisions.
- Generate and maintain thorough documentation of estimates, schedules, and project details.
- Stay informed about industry trends, materials, and pricing to provide competitive estimates and schedules.
- Foster strong relationships with customers, contractors, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Assist in resolving any discrepancies between estimates, schedules, and actual project costs.
- Secondary diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in estimating and project scheduling, preferably in the window and door industry. Preferred but training will be provided.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in using estimation software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
